Program Overview - Clean the World Foundation

Giving those who need it, a hot shower and a fresh start.

We're providing hot showers and hygiene supplies to individuals experiencing homelessness in cities across the United States.

Since 2017, Clean the World Foundation has delivered over 25,000 showers to individuals experiencing homelessness helping to reduce the spread of COVID-19 to the unhoused population while combatting homelessness.

Through mobile showers units, WASH (water, sanitation, and hygiene) programming and Wellness (COVID-19 testing, HEP A / HEP C vaccinations, and illness prevention) services, Clean the World’s Fresh Start WASH & Wellness Program is the driving force towards a successful transition to housing, treatment, and job placement services for this underserved community.

Daily hygiene habits play a critical role in preventing the spread of disease from person to person.

In America, most homeless shelters do not have adequate shower facilities or washing stations available for the unhoused which creates a gap in supportive services. Access to clean water, soap, and washing facilities reduces the risk of infection and illness in this population, as well as the spread of disease to the community at large.

Access to hygiene and wellness services can decrease homelessness by 35%. The Fresh Start Mobile Showers is the connector for individuals to get additional services such as mental health counseling, identification, housing and more.
