Manohar Shenoy
Executive Director
Manohar is Clean the World Foundation's Executive Director where he oversees broader strategy, programs, and operations. He joins the team with over 30 years of leadership and management experience in International Development, having led programs in several countries in Southeast Asia, South Asia and Africa and supported programs in the Middle East, Europe and the Caribbean. He brings considerable experience in WASH, Public Health, Nutrition, Agriculture, Water, Integrated Adaptive Water Resources Management, Microfinance and Gender, Climate Change Adaptation, Complex Emergencies, Refugees and Urbanization. He has worked closely with USAID (and OFDA), PEPFAR, the United Nations (UNOCHA, UNICEF, UNDP, UNFPA, UN Women, WHO, FAO and WFP), the EC (and ECHO), World Bank, AusAID (DFAT), FCOD, CIDA, SIDA, the Dutch Government, GFATM, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, CIFF, MacArthur Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation apart from several national programs in countries across the world with various line ministries.

Luis Hakim
Director of Development
Luis leads our efforts to sustain, expand and diversify our programs to reach a larger number of vulnerable populations around the globe. He has more than three decades of experience in international development as an economist. Luis has worked in Latin America, Middle East, South East Asia, Eastern Europe and Africa. His areas of expertise include youth employment, labor markets, social protection, and technical education. More recently, he has been responsible for developing public-private partnerships to promote business-led programs in technical education. His work experience includes institutions like The World Bank, Millennium Challenge Corporation, European Training Foundation, UNESCO and other private sector development institutions.
