Meet the team: Steffani Fields

Have You Met Steffani?

Hey! My name is Steffani, and I am the Global Education and Logistics Manager here at CTW Foundation. I handle all distribution of foundation hygiene products, and design and implement our WASH Education programs worldwide. I also lead the domestic and international emergency relief response efforts for CTW.

What does your typical day look like?

Like the rest of us here at Foundation, it gets crazy! I come in with a plan to knock out everything needed that day, and before I know it I’m doing ten things at once, including the processing of hygiene supply orders and building relationships with potential partners who help us transport and distribute our products all over the world.  When I’m not working on WASH education curriculums, a large part of my time is devoted to emergency relief response, especially this year’s hurricane season with Hurricane Florence and Hurricane Michael which destroyed large parts of the Southeastern United States.

What is your favorite part of working at Clean the World Foundation?

My absolute favorite part of working here is seeing the end result of the team’s hard work.  This includes working in the field with the schools, communities and individuals we serve through our WASH programs and receiving the feedback we receive from our partner non-profits who distribute our products and use them to educate others or during emergency relief efforts.  Being able to step back and see the big picture and how everything ultimately culminates in helping others to lead healthier lives keeps me going every day!

What were you doing before?

I was the American Red Cross Disaster Program Specialist for Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties in Florida.

Where in the world would you travel to next, and why?

I would love to go to Haiti because after a year of preparations, we are now prepared to launch our first comprehensive WASH-in-Schools program and I am ready to start training teachers and community leaders to bring better hygiene and sanitation practices to over 5,000 students and their families!
