Volunteers play a pivotal role in helping The WASH Foundation, an evolution of Clean the World Foundation carry out its purpose of improving the quality of life of vulnerable populations around the world through increased access to safe water, sanitation, hygiene (WASH), and soap. They not only contribute to the mission by sorting out soap and plastic bottle amenities or packing boxes of brand new Clean the World soap bars, but also by spreading the word about the real impact that our organization has on the world.
We would like to sincerely thank Quest Kids Academy which has been volunteering since August 2022. What began as an occasional volunteer opportunity for the Academy’s #Soaperhero students turned into a weekly commitment, which has become one of the highlights of their week at school.
Because of its passion for the cause, Quest Kids Academy has already volunteered for more than 15 shifts with groups of 8-15 students. To date, they have accumulated more than 300 volunteer hours, with more than 150 volunteers in attendance during the various events. They have unwrapped over 200,000 bars of soap and have boxed around 100,000 bars of NGO soap for distribution around the world! Their impact has been incredible, and we are extremely grateful to them.
This is not a unique story…. many other groups, such as civic organizations, private corporations, middle schools, and high schools have been supporting our Volunteer Program both in Orlando, FL and Las Vegas, NV. They are at the heartbeat of our organization.
Our Orlando facility is the largest: it can host over 100 volunteers daily and is able to accommodate anyone with special needs. Coming to volunteer at Clean the World is a full experience that starts with a visit of our one-of-a kind Soap Museum, which features soap memorabilia dating back to the 18th century, including a unique “Palmolive Cleopatra” advertisement that not even the soap company itself owns.
As we continue our journey towards making the world a better place, we are committed to continue growing our Clean the World Volunteer program, hence empowering Clean the World Foundation to expand its reach around the globe.
